Our Church

Our church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. As such, we hold to the belief that the Holy Scriptures are the inspired and inerrant Word of God-the Rule and Norm for the Christian faith. We also hold the Book of Concord of 1580 to be a true exposition of God's Word, and the standard against which all the teachings of our Church to be measured.

Our Sunday School meets from 8:00 until 9:15 on Sunday mornings September through May.
We have classes for children ages 3 through the 8th grade.
We also have an adult Bible study Sunday morning at 8:30am.

Please call Pastor Tillmann for details on new member classes or anything pertaining to our congregation.

In a changing world, it's good to know that somethings stay the same.
Jesus Christ is same, yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod believes, teaches and confesses that there is only one true God. He is the God who has revealed Himself, in Holy Scripture as the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Father, Creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the very Son of God, who became fully human  to suffer and die for the sins of all mankind, and rose to life again in victory over sin, death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God's appointed "Means of Grace"-that is,through Word and Sacraments.

Looking out at our pond reminds us of the "still waters" of the 23rd Psalm.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
